If you come by car, we will provide you with all the necessary details to easily find us upon your arrival, including the GPS coordinates of the chalet. Once on site, you will find 3 private parking spaces right in front of your chalet.

Alternatively, in the summer and winter the hamlet of Vars Ste Catherine is well served by free inter-hamlet shuttles. They will take you directly to Vars Ste Marie or Vars les Claux: the heart of the resort.

We reside in Vars, ensuring our constant availability. Nevertheless, we maintain discretion to ensure a tranquil stay for you. Throughout the year, we are here to assist you in planning your vacations. We can recommend certified instructors to accompany you in various activities such as mountain biking, rafting, hiking, skiing in all its forms, surfing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, and more.

Furthermore, we can suggest road cycling routes to conquer the renowned Tour de France mountain passes. Accessible from the chalet, you can venture on the Col de la Bonnette, Col d'Allos, Col de Larche, Col d'Izoard, Col du Galibier, not forgetting the impressive Col de Vars, along with numerous stunning hiking trails.

If you prefer to forgo cooking, we can arrange for a caterer or private chef to deliver or prepare meals at the chalet.

THE MOST OF THE DESTINATION - SUMMER

- The Hautes-Alpes, it's 300 days of sunshine a year!

- This is a cycling paradise! Stroll with the family with electric mountain bikes, or hurtle down the slopes of the area on a downhill mountain bike where the tracks are laid out with jumps and turns. Don't miss the longest mountain biking descent in Europe (32km) which connects Vars to Embrun. Rather cyclist? Dozens of mountain passes are accessible from Vars, a beautiful area of the Petite Reine.

- At the crossroads of 3 different valleys (Ecrins – Queyras – Ubaye), Vars is a central starting point for all your hikes (hundreds of kilometres!) in the Southern Alps.

- Discover mountain water in all its forms: from bodies of water on a pedalo or swimming, to natural waterfalls on a path leading to a high-altitude lake, on a raft or inflatable canoe down the Durance ( be careful, it gets wet!), to the best beaches for lazing around (or water activities such as wakeboarding, boating, or kiting) on the shores of the large Serre Ponçon lake.

- For children, some ideas: a tree climbing course accessible from 5 years old, with "impassable" courses for the more adventurous - an equestrian center which will take you to discover the mountains on horseback - orienteering races in the Regional Park du Queyras – visit the animals on the farm – climbing, via ferrata, canyoning – and don't forget the ping-pong table at the chalet!

During winter and summer, complimentary shuttles will transport you throughout the resort, providing easy access to numerous hiking and snowshoeing trails.
