If you come by car, we will provide you with all the necessary details to easily find us upon your arrival, including the GPS coordinates of the chalet. Once on site, you will find 3 private parking spaces right in front of your chalet.

Alternatively, in the summer and winter the hamlet of Vars Ste Catherine is well served by free inter-hamlet shuttles. They will take you directly to Vars Ste Marie or Vars les Claux: the heart of the resort.

We reside in Vars, ensuring our constant availability. Nevertheless, we maintain discretion to ensure a tranquil stay for you. Throughout the year, we are here to assist you in planning your vacations. We can recommend certified instructors to accompany you in various activities such as mountain biking, rafting, hiking, skiing in all its forms, surfing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, and more.

Furthermore, we can suggest road cycling routes to conquer the renowned Tour de France mountain passes. Accessible from the chalet, you can venture on the Col de la Bonnette, Col d'Allos, Col de Larche, Col d'Izoard, Col du Galibier, not forgetting the impressive Col de Vars, along with numerous stunning hiking trails.

If you prefer to forgo cooking, we can arrange for a caterer or private chef to deliver or prepare meals at the chalet.

It's a paradise for cycling! Explore the area with electric mountain bikes as a family or race down the slopes of the downhill mountain biking domain, featuring jumps and turns. Don't miss the longest downhill mountain bike trail in Europe (32km) connecting Vars to Embrun. Prefer road cycling? There are numerous mountain passes accessible from Vars, making it a beautiful territory for cycling enthusiasts.

Located at the crossroads of three different valleys (Ecrins – Queyras – Ubaye), Vars is a central starting point for all your hiking adventures (hundreds of kilometers!) in the Southern Alps.

Discover mountain water in all its forms: from pedal boats and swimming in lakes, to natural waterfalls along hiking trails leading to high-altitude lakes. Experience rafting or inflatable canoeing down the Durance River (prepare to get wet!), or simply relax on the best beaches for sunbathing or engaging in water activities like wakeboarding, boating, or kiteboarding by the grand Lac de Serre Ponçon.

For children, we have a range of activities: an accessible treetop adventure course suitable for children aged 5 and up, including more challenging routes for the adventurous ones; a horse riding center to explore the mountains on horseback; orienteering in the Parc Régional du Queyras; farm animal visits; and options for rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoning. And don't forget the ping pong table at the chalet!
