The chalet A is an invitation to experience winter differently.

With its 6 bedrooms, including 4 double bedrooms, one room with a mezzanine for 4 people, and a dormitory that sleeps 6, everyone can find their own space to unwind. And so there's no waiting for bathroom time, you'll find five separate full bathrooms in the chalet. The 45 m² living room with wood-burning stove is perfect for cosy evenings after a day on the slopes, while the wood-clad kitchen with bar brings the whole tribe together around good meals.

The wellness area is the chalet’s highlight: an indoor heated pool, an outdoor hot tub under the stars, and a traditional wood-fired sauna for ultimate relaxation. You’ll also enjoy two south-facing terraces, games (table football, darts), complete baby equipment, and smart TVs in every bedroom!

With 300 days of sunshine a year and 700m from the first chairlift of the Forêt Blanche ski area (185 km of slopes, freestyle parks, freeride zones), there are endless ways to enjoy the mountains: skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling at sunset, or snowshoeing at dawn. The chalet A is the ideal place to gather your loved ones and experience the magic of winter in the Southern Alps!

If you come by car, we will provide you with all the necessary details to easily find us upon your arrival, including the GPS coordinates of the chalet. Once on site, you will find 3 private parking spaces right in front of your chalet.

In the summer and winter the hamlet of Vars Ste Catherine is well served by free inter-hamlet shuttles. From the shuttle stop only 100m from the chalet, they will take you directly to Vars Ste Marie or Vars les Claux: the heart of the resort.

We reside in Vars, ensuring our constant availability. Nevertheless, we maintain discretion to ensure a tranquil stay for you. Throughout the year, we are here to assist you in planning your vacations. We can recommend certified instructors to accompany you in various activities such as mountain biking, rafting, hiking, skiing in all its forms, surfing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, and more.

Furthermore, we can suggest road cycling routes to conquer the renowned Tour de France mountain passes. Accessible from the chalet, you can venture on the Col de la Bonnette, Col d'Allos, Col de Larche, Col d'Izoard, Col du Galibier, not forgetting the impressive Col de Vars, along with numerous stunning hiking trails.

If you prefer to forgo cooking, we can arrange for a caterer or private chef to deliver or prepare meals at the chalet.

We rent out this chalet through a company and, therefore, create a rental contract after confirming your reservation.
